!st I have to say using the HiTec HS-805BB like I thought for the joints is not going to work. Those are mega servos and thats the size not streight. They are about the size of a fits, Not anywhere close to the size I wanted (standard servo size) so For hight Streight I am going to have to go with a digital servo. HS-5995TG (Cost has almost trippled because of this for each servo) |

| Right now I am using some HS-645MG that are rated about 133oz/in.
Below is a view of the 2 servos. As you can see there is little more than just a small differance .. would you like to MEGA size your servo??
I put the servos in the place of one of the hip joints and one for knee. 1st pic below is the 1600mA Battery that I have and a servo driver (seen on page 2)
Now with the leg together and 2 of the temp servos in place. I can test the 1st leg out.
Video will be coming soon as I need to reload my CVS cam drivers and software. Funny what is missing off a computer when you replace it and do use something. Over fathers day I was able to get the 2nd leg built and in place on the temp body.
and under its own power it can lift its self up.
and a quick movie of it pushing its self around. Click here to watch 'Spider-Test-2-legs-' [Main] [Page 1] [Page 2] [ Page 4] [ Page 5] ... [ Page 8 ]
